We’re excited to welcome you to campus for the upcoming school year! Here is an overview of what to expect from the move-in process.
Move-In Schedule
Sunday, August 17
Student Athlete Move-In (All Freshmen, Returning, and Transfer Student-Athletes)
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
→ Check in at the Morris University Center
Thursday, August 21
New Student Move-In (Freshmen & Transfer Students)
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
→ Check in at the Morris University Center
Friday, August 22
Returning Student Move-In (Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors)
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
→ Go directly to your assigned building and check in with your RA
Saturday, August 23 & Sunday, August 24
Late Arrivals
Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
→ Go to your building and check in with your RA
→ Email housing2@shawnee.edu if you plan to arrive late
Move-In Time Slots
All students are required to schedule a move-in appointment through the Housing tab on . Please plan to arrive and check in during your selected time slot to help us ensure a smooth and organized move-in process.
What to Do When You Arrive on CampusÂ
When you arrive, head to the upper parking lot of the Morris University Center (MUC). Look for campus signage to guide you—this area is marked B5 on the campus map below.
Use this campus map to help you navigate during move-in day:
Once parked:
- Enter the Morris University Center (MUC) lower lobby to check in.
- There will be three check-in tables organized by last name:

- ´³â€“R
- ³§â€“Z
- Staff at the tables will check you in, confirm your housing assignment, and provide next steps.

How to Check Your Room Assignment Â
- Log in to
- Click on the “Housing†tab

Look for your housing assignment section
You’ll see a section labeled with your current housing assignment details (e.g., building, apartment, and room number).
