AIɫɫ’s Office of the Provost has announced the appointment of Dr. Jason Lovins as the Interim Director of the C.H. Lute School of Business for the next academic year.
Dr. Lovins brings more than 35 years of professional work in marketing, corporate communications, entrepreneurism, and publishing. He joined the faculty within the C.H Lute School of Business in 2018, leading the Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing program, directing the curriculum and increasing enrollments. He most recently served as the Graduate Program Director of the university’s Master of Business Administration program.
“As those who have had the privilege of working with Dr. Lovins will attest, he incorporates project-based, experiential learning into his courses and is a passionate educator and dedicated advisor,” said SSU Provost and Vice President for Academic & Student Affairs, Dr. Kimberly Inman.
Dr. Lovins holds a Ph.D. in Mass Communication-Journalism from E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Findlay, OH, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Ohio State University. He also holds an accreditation in the Practice of Ethical Public Relations.
The C.H. Lute School of Business offers programs at the associate, baccalaureate, and graduate level, meeting the diverse needs of students and businesses with courses focused on applied entry-level skills as well as broader theoretical concepts and leadership skills applicable to more complex organizational needs.
