The AIɫɫ Alumni Association is seeking nominations for the 2021 presentation of Alumni Awards. Every year, the association recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of AIɫɫ State alumni who are making strives within their careers and throughout their communities.

Kelsie Callihan was passionate about finding a career that she will not only love, but also make a difference. The West Portsmouth native found herself at AIɫɫ pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Special Education.

The AIɫɫ Kricker Innovation Hub will host “The Future of Social Audio” at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28 as part of its monthly virtual speaker series.

At AIɫɫ State, students participating in the Student Government Association (SGA) have an opportunity to help contribute to the leadership decisions being made about activities and organizations for the entire university student body.

Eli Cole, a native of West Portsmouth, Ohio, is the newest Student Trustee at AIɫɫ.

Graphic Design major Mindy Hamann wanted to find the perfect path forward that suited her love of both art and technology. She has found the best of both worlds, stepped out of her comfort zone and had some amazing experiences through SSU Graphic Design.

Being the first generation in a family to go to college can bring some challenges. AIɫɫ State Dean of Students Marcie Simms knows these hurdles first-hand, part of the reason she founded SSU’s First-Gen program five years ago.

Offering advising, tutoring and supplemental instruction, the Student Success Center provides an intricate resource to all AIɫɫ students seeking additional academic assistance outside of their classroom.

The AIɫɫ Alumni Association recognizes six individuals for their achievements in their career fields and their communities in the presentation of the Alumni Awards.
