Newly chartered at AIɫɫ, the Entrepreneurship Club is designed to help current SSU students gain exposure in different fields while developing skills they can use in their future careers.

Members of the AIɫɫ Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program presented a booth on Oct. 28 at the HalloweenTown event in Russell, KY. 

The AIɫɫ Musical Theatre Department will present the hilarious, 9 to 5, The Musical, Nov. 17-20 at the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts (VRCFA).

AIɫɫ’s Office of Career Services will be hosting an Internship Fair on Tuesday, Nov. 9 starting at 11 am until 2 pm.

Helping prepare and mentor future medical professionals in all fields, the AIɫɫ Pre-Med Club seeks to expand the experiences of its student members in all medical-based activities. Recently the club visited the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.

AIɫɫ Board of Trustees recently inducted a new Student Trustee to serve one fiscal year on the governing board. Cassidy Starnes, a native of Gallipolis, Ohio, was inducted onto the Board early in the autumn semester and will continue to serve in this role until June 2022.

AIɫɫ will be offering a series of Motorcycle Ohio Basic Rider Safety Courses on campus. The courses include both classroom and motorcycle range instruction.

The AIɫɫ Kricker Innovation Hub will host “Entrepreneurship in Gaming: Funding Your First Game” as their next session of the Entrepreneurial Journey Speaker Series. The event, to be held virtually, will take place on Thursday, Oct. 28 starting at 5:30 p.m.

Celebrating the annual Respiratory Care Week, the AIɫɫ Respiratory Therapy Program recently put together care packages for local respiratory therapists working in area nursing homes, hospitals, and care centers.

AIɫɫ will welcome Jeffrey Reaser, PhD, Author and Professor of Linguistics at North Carolina State University as part of the 2021-2022 Jane M.G. Foster Distinguished Lecture series starting at 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29 in the Flohr Lecture Hall of the Clark Memorial Library.
