AIɫɫ’s Center for Lifelong Learning has announced its upcoming summer camps to be held on campus for students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. The slate of enrichment programs include annual events like Bear Tracks and Cub Camp and several new camps focused on specific topics.
Bear Tracks – June 2-27: For high school seniors, the residential summer program allows students to earn an industry credential while exploring opportunities for jobs and internships to being their careers right away. This year’s tracks include Basic EMT, CompTIA IT, Manufacturing MSSC, Educational Paraprofessional, Phlebotomy, Social Media for Business and Microsoft Office and Entrepreneurship.
Young Innovators Academy – June 16-20: For students entering grades 3-5, the program is designed to empower students to explore creativity and innovation through hands-on projects. Students will have the opportunity to design, build, and problem-solve using cutting-edge tools inspiring future innovators in a fun, supportive environment through collaboration, critical thinking, and STEM skills.
Cub Camp – June 23-26: For student entering pre-kindergarten through 8 grade, this annual summer enrichment program is designed to spark the imagination and expand the knowledge of students with hands-on learning through several enrichment and educational sessions.
– June 23-27: For students entering grades 10 & 11, the residential camp provides an immersive experience for students eager to explore the field of nursing. During this hands-on program, participants will live on campus and gain valuable insights into the nursing profession through interactive workshops, simulation labs, and sessions with healthcare professionals.
– June 23-27: For students entering grades 9-11, this exploratory summer experience provides students with unique access and opportunity to interact with local industries and companies around how they use STEM and what career opportunities might be in store at their companies.
